Viburnum x bodnantense 'Dawn' is a large deciduous shrub which we grow mostly for its fantastic dense clusters of heavily fragrant winter flowers.

These dark pink, tubular flowers fade to white flushed with pale pink and flower on the bare branches.

Viburnum x bodnantense 'Dawn' is a garden hybrid, (Viburnum grandiflorum crossed with Viburnum farreri). It was first crossed by Charles Lamont in Edinburgh in 1933 and again in 1934 at Bodnant from where it gets its name.
