Spirea x arguta

Spirea x arguta is a handsome, late spring flowering shrub with delicate arching branches which become smothered in small white flowers held close against the stems.

Commonly known as Bridal Wreath, Spirea x arguta is simply the most common cultivar of Spirea to be grown.

It's toughness makes it ideal for Scottish gardens, where it enjoys full sun to partial shade.

Whilst not recognised specifically for its Autumn colour Spirea x arguta 's leaves turn subtly from shades of green through to gold yellows and every possible hue in between.
