Hydrangea anomala ssp petiolaris

Hydrangea anomala ssp petiolaris

Family: Hydrangeaceae

Genus: Hydrangea

Species: anomala subsp. petiolaris

Syn: H. petiolaris

Common Name: Climbing Hydrangea

Hydrangea anomala ssp. petiolaris

The saviour of all north facing walls!

This climbing hydrangea will grow where many other plants will not make the effort. As a self-clinging climber it will attach directly to walls or tree trunks suckering onto them with its clinging roots.

Given a bit of sunlight it will produce abundant white lace cap flower heads that will lift the darkest of corners.
