Clematis montana is not only rampant (indispensible for quickly hiding an unsightly shed or fence) but they will also flower abundantly.
From May to June Clematis montana are smothered in simple, four petalled flowers usually in shades of pink or white with perky yellow centres. They will occassionally have a second flowering in autumn before they die back in the winter.
