This neglected garden was in much need of a complete makeover. Our clients had begun to clear back the overgrown foliage to reveal sagging paving and tumbling walls set in a sloping angled garden.

To create a private garden with a contemporary feel, centred around entertaining friends and relaxing after a busy week at work.

- conservatory patio :: adjacent to the house a simple mini-patio creates the first level of the garden. Surrounded by raised planters, feature paving detail leads the eye up the steps to the next level. Big enough for a table and chairs it's ideal for those more intimate lazy Sundays.
- entertaining zone and BBQ:: this is the central focus of the garden featuring an integrated bbq with wooden work surfaces for food preparation and built-in lighting for evening gatherings.
- screening :: the tall wall of the bbq screens the area from the neighbour's windows adding privacy and shelter.
- seating :: the raised rendered walls have wooden coping for extra seating.
- raised deck :: a raised decked platform perches at the top of the garden nestled amongst colourful flowers and shrubs. Reached by decked steps this secluded space offers views over the garden towards the house, the perfect place to catch the evening sun, and keep an eye on all those guests!
- planting :: planting is bright and jungle-inspired. Large foliage plants and colourful summer flowering choices mix together creating a fun and striking garden. Over time these fast growing plants will hide the boundary fence and neighbouring gardens from view, making the overall garden feel more secluded and private.
- utility area :: a purpose built bin store is tucked away next to the back gate for easy access.
