We first met in 1995. It didn't take us long to realise that two are definitely better than one and we have been living and working together in various parts of Scotland for most of those years, sharing ideas and design experience.
Our collaborative passion for design, gardens and the finer things in life is intimately woven through our home and work lives. We see the potential in everything and everyone around us. Standing on common ground, developing creatively, meeting other like-minded experts and travelling for inspiration has become a way of life for us.
Our sense of partnership extends beyond our immediate creative fields. We believe in supporting other makers and specialists and working closely with all our clients. Building a strong design community goes hand in hand with our values.
Jason is a dedicated garden designer and manages our garden design studio. He loves plants, specialises in water features and lectures in garden design in Edinburgh. He is also a keen photographer and took most of the photographs on our site.
When not wrapped up in gardens you'll find him chasing our web programmer up the mountain bike trails of Peebles.
Lucy has been involved in textiles most of her life and she manages our textile studio. She also enjoys writing and has penned most of the words for our site.
Outside of twig she's usually to be found concocting delicious food for large impromptu gatherings of friends.
