We give all you would expect of a professional design practice. Our designs are intelligent, thoughtful, beautiful. We're obsessed with detail. We strive to go the extra mile to make sure you are as pleased as punch with us.

And we mix all that with boundless passion and love for our work and a friendly, enthusiastic, upbeat approach.

Jason Russell - garden designer

Jason studied at Edinburgh University and the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.

He has an intelligent, creative, intuitive approach and a deep understanding of design and its relationship to the surrounding environment. Above all he is passionate about plants.

He has appeared on The Beechgrove Garden, and talked to The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society, The Society of Garden Designers, The Scottish Ideal Home and Garden Show and Scottish horticultural groups.

He lectures in Garden and Planting Design at The Scottish Agricultural College and the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and in 2010 led his students to win a silver medal at The Chelsea Flower Show.

Ever the outdoor type Jason rides his uniquely customised Yamaha TRX850, mountain bikes like a demon in the hills of Peebles, rarely leaves home without a camera, and drinks cider so dry it turns his cheeks inside out.

Lucy Head - project coordinator

Lucy manages all aspects of our design studio, keeps all of our projects running smoothly and our website up to date.

She also leads the planting and maintenance of all our garden projects.

When she isn't juggling plants, words and spreadsheets Lucy grinds her own spices, secretly sprints through sudoku puzzles, yearns for the sea and always carries at least one notebook wherever she goes.

She also takes on the occassional, hard to resist embroidery project, a hangover from many years spent diligently working as a freelance embroiderer.
